So this whole scene was pretty much ported over from the old Shonen Punk remix story arc. I really liked this idea of Diaz being that evil. and I wanted to make sure it stayed cannon in this version too!

hey, there! So I made some Shonen Punx stickers to sell at Los Angeles Comic-con next month. Im pretty excited! I will also have copies of Shonen Punx! #1. I’ll post pics of that once I have received them!
are you going to LACC this year? I tabled in artist alley for the first time last year, so I’m excited to come back this year with some new books and stickers and stuff.
I’m not 100%, but if I did the math right I might, just MIGHT have copies of Shonen Punx! Vol.1 with me at Comic-con L.a
Really just depends on if I can complete the next 2 chapters before late august-mid september.
So, no promises but we’ll see.
Also need to decide if I wanna do this on Kickstarter or just do it myself.

So, I’m working on the script for the next few weeks of Shonen Punx comics, and let me say, I have been having a blast with this new reboot! It’s been so much fun reintroducing the world to my old charcters, and the new ones too! I didn’t just wanna rehash the same old stories from the original Shonen Punk or Shonen Punk Remix, so I been really grinding those brain gears, and I think I came up with a fun new direction for this version. tbh I’m really excited and can’t wait to see how y’all will receive it.
So don’t be shy, your opinions are always welcome!

on a side note I booked my hotel for Comic-con L.A! I’ll be in artist alley again this year! More info once it get’s loser!

Hey! so I don’t know if you’ve got the chance to check it out. but I updated the cast page! I’m really proud of how it came out. I leaned in on the whole record store/comic shop vibe. and decided the cast would have lanyards like empire records or even the old tower records.
So I thought it’d be cool to do a timelapse/speed draw for one of the comic pages. so here we go! (music by Arcade Destiny)
I got the opportunity to see my favorite electro punk group Kap bambino(from France) last night at The Echo in Los Angeles! i took video too but unfortunately the bass killed the sound T_T
This band has had such a huge impact of me musically. They are the the reason i decided to finally make my own synthwave x pop-punk music project Arcade Destiny. so seeing them live was just a whole new experience for me. my mind was “literally” blown to pieces and wound back up by the pure high-octane energy of the night!!
but here’s two pictures. one of the marque out front and one of Caroline singing and crowd surfing. it was so awesome. if they’re ever in your area, i highly suggest you see them!
